Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Building Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of building maintenance requirements and standards and will be able to provide excellent service to all stakeholders including tenants, property managers, vendors and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Assess maintenance needs for the building
- Inspect the general condition of the building and surrounding property for cleanliness, overall appeal and potential problems.
- Evaluate and supervise building staff and train new employees.
- Coordinate with inspectors, vendors and contractors coming to the properties.
- Manage communal spaces of the building
- Enforce building security and safety policies and train staff members on proper policy protocols.
- Address resident complaints and inform property manager of any emergencies.
- Provide emergency assistance to the tenants.
- Meet with guests and provide outstanding customer service to all tenants, owners, and visitors of the building.
- Maintain inventory and stock of supplies, brochures, and collateral for concierge desks.
- Support operations partners and vendors delivering communication to managers and tenants on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- Atleast 4 years of work within the UAE and aleast 2 years in a Supervisory position.
- Diploma or Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent field.
- Experience of working in a mall, mixed complex properties residential and commercial is advantageous
- MS Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of client management and problem-solving skills.
- Having a UAE driving license is required
- Excellent communication in English is mandatory while knowing Arabic would be advantageous.
