Our client is looking for an Export Document Controller to manage export documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth shipment processing.

They are a Dubai-based logistics company specializing in international shipping and trade services, ensuring efficient customs clearance and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management: Prepare and manage export documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Export Licenses, Permits, and Customs Declarations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international export regulations, correctly classify goods using Harmonized System (HS) codes.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with customers, brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping companies to ensure timely submission of documents for customs clearance and shipping.
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor export shipments to ensure proper documentation is in place at each stage, avoiding delays and ensuring smooth customs clearance.
- Accuracy and Issue Resolution: Review and resolve documentation issues to avoid delays, penalties, and clearance problems.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and detailed records of all export documentation for auditing, compliance, and future reference.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients and suppliers to provide shipment updates, handle documentation queries, and resolve any issues related to export processes.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on export documentation and customs procedures.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer and logistics partner interaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and export/logistics platforms.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve documentation or shipment issues quickly.
- Professional customer service approach to client interactions.
- Language: English (Mandatory). Knowledge of Hindi or other languages is a plus.
