Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cashier to join our team at a leading logistics company in Dubai. The role involves managing cash transactions accurately, maintaining financial records, and ensuring a seamless payment process for clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and invoices to clients as required.
- Reconcile daily cash transactions and prepare reports for management.
- Maintain records of transactions and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries related to payments.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and documentation, when necessary.
- Ensure the cash handling area is organized, secure, and operates smoothly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar financial transaction role, preferably within the UAE.
- Familiarity with handling cash and managing point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in finance or accounting is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
