Our client is a leading event management and entertainment agency in the UAE with over 20 years of experience. They specialize in delivering end-to-end solutions for diverse events, offering services from event production to digital solutions and creative studios. 

 

 

Job Overview: 

 

We are seeking a seasoned and technically adept Production Manager to lead factory operations, oversee large teams, and manage multiple projects. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery across all production activities. 

 

Responsibilities: 


Team Leadership and Management 

  • Lead and manage a team of 150 technical staff and supervisors, including carpenters, welders, painters, and electricians. 
  • Foster a culture of dedication, hard work, and collaboration to meet the demands of the events industry, including extended working hours when necessary. 
  • Provide technical guidance to the team and effectively troubleshoot production challenges. 


Factory Operations and Workflow Oversight 

  • Oversee daily factory operations to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality project completion. 
  • Ensure the seamless execution of joinery processes, including carpentry, welding, painting, and electrical works. 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Collaborate with project managers and foremen to synchronize production schedules with project timelines. 
  • Review AutoCAD drawings and 3D renders to ensure precise execution of client specifications. 


Quality Control and Safety Compliance 

  • Maintain high standards of quality control throughout all stages of production. 
  • Enforce workplace safety measures and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Up to 5 years of UAE experience in the Events & Exhibitions industry. 
  • Strong expertise in AutoCAD and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings. 
  • In-depth technical knowledge of joinery, carpentry, welding, painting, and electrical installations. 
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead foremen and supervisors. 
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the flexibility to work extended hours as required by project demands. 
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to staff and ensure clarity in production execution. 
  • A technical degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Joinery, or related).
